Robert Norton, CPCU
Mr. Norton has over 30 years’ experience in the Property and Casualty industry with 10 years’ additional experience in contracting, providing a unique depth and breadth of knowledge, earned through decades of battle proven experience. Issues with International Code, Wind Load/Damage, Repair vs Replace, mitigation and building envelope hardening are well known and handled efficiently, as well as extensive experience in CA and HI dealing with canyon access and hillside construction with related scope and pricing implications. Bob’s resume is extensive, with post graduate college studies in Finance and Dispute Resolution, as well as significant licensing and certifications. As a licensed adjuster in many states, and a Florida Licensed General Contractor, he also holds the CPCU, the highest credential conferred in the P&C industry. Bob’s recent 10 plus years reflects a focus on dispute resolution; he is one of the cofounders of the IAUA, Insurance Appraisal and Umpire Association, Board member since inception, and has trained hundreds of individuals many of which have earned Certification as Appraiser and/or Umpire. Bob has been Court appointed as Umpire in multiple jurisdictions, State and Federal Courts, is also frequently engaged as an expert and has been named Special Master for matters pending in court. Experienced with Commercial, Residential, Business Income and Association losses, if a dispute arises regarding a property loss, he is an ideal resource.
Andrew Weaver, SPPA, AIC, LPCS
Andrew has an extensive construction and insurance adjusting background. Having grown up in the new home construction industry Andrew started his career working for his family’s constructions company, which is one of Pennsylvania’s largest and premier new home construction companies.
Steve is a knowledgeable claims specialist with approximately sixteen years of experience handling both residential and commercial claims, with a heavy emphasis on large loss and appraisal claims resulting from catastrophe and regular business losses. Over the last 12 years he has been involved in more than 2,800 appraisals.
James has extensive experience working throughout the country resolving insurance claim disputes as an appraiser. His experience scales from very small residential disputes to large commercial ones.
Robert Hugh Joslin is Hawaii’s only Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPPA) as designated by the Insurance Institute of America (IIA). He is an active officer of the National Association of Public Adjuster (NAPIA). He has served as the Secretary, Treasurer and is now serving as the National Vice President (3th) at NAPIA for the 2022/2023 term. He also currently serves as NAPIA’s Officer-in-Charge for the Unlicensed & Fraudulent Activities Committee and the Ambassador’s Committee.
|Clay is the 2021 past-president of IAUA; his extensive experience includes adjusting claims in every major hurricane of the last 20 years. Clay has also served in an expert or appraiser capacity on losses throughout the U.S. Clay has been a featured speaker at numerous venues including insurance industry conferences, realty associations, Chambers of Commerce and Rotary clubs throughout the U.S.
|Beau is the 2020 past-president of the IAUA. Beau has nearly 25 years of field and office experience handling daily claims, total-loss fires, catastrophe claims, re-inspections, large-loss commercial and residential claims ranging from simple roof leaks to losses over $30,000,000. Appraisal experience includes hundreds of property and auto disputes throughout the U.S.
|Keith is the owner of Womack Construction Consulting, Inc. & Restoration Specialists of Florida, Inc. A State Certified Residential Contractor with over 25 years in the insurance industry, Keith has handled over 600 appraisals.
Ron Papa, SPPA
|Ron's career has spanned over 30 years, during which he has successfully adjusted more than 2,000 insurance losses. A graduate of Niagara University, he is approved as an instructor by numerous State Insurance Departments, the New York State Bar Association and the Society of CPAs.
|David worked in the insurance industry for 21 years as a litigation specialist and fraud investigator prior to attending law school. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee.
|Jonathan J. Wilkofsky is known as the authority on Insurance Appraisal. The legal treatise, “The Law and Procedure of Insurance Appraisal“, currently in it’s third edition, was written with the idea in mind to present a text “as accurate, balanced and complete as possible.”
